About us

We are a family guesthouse, which has opened its doors in 2013 in a small village Dolenje jezero. The village is located on the outskirts of Cerknica lake, which was already declared as one of the geatest natural wonders of the world by Janez Vajkard Valvasor, slovenian historian. Our guests can stay in our apatments and relax in wellness center.

We are an ideal starting point for trips to surrounding hills and natural attractions. On request we can organize individual trips to the Regional Park of Notranjska. During the time when the lake is filled with water we also offer ride with dugout, which is a bout made of tree trunk. We are available for any information that will come in helpful when you visit our sites.

For everyone who wants to escape from the daily grind or you just wants a short break in peaceful surroundings, we have the perfect solution. Regional Park of Notranjska is suitable for quiet walks and enjoying  nature in all seasons. We are surrounded by hills, such as Slivnica, Javorniki and Snežnik which are suitable for hikers. In the surrounding area there are also many routes for cycling enthusiasts.

In spring and autumn, when the lake is filled with water, you can take a boat ride on it or you can decide to fish. In the winter when temperatures drop and the lake freezes, it is very appealing to ice skaters. In the summer the region is suitable for small picnics, and the bravest can choose to take a dip in the lake.

Our guesthouse is located inside the Regional Park of Notranjska, which is characterized by several of natural monuments and diversity of living beings. In the park we find natural monuments, nature reserves and wetland areas. This area has also a major range of different animal and plant species. Especially the lake is important area because it creates its own conditions for growth and development.

In the vicinity there are also other natural and cultural attractions such as the Postojna Cave, Castle Snežnik, Predjama Castle and others.
